TUTORIAL OF DAY: Neutral brightening eye make up

Hello! Ok, so this look i created specifically for a woman in her 40’s or so. Anyone can benefit from this look, but if you have wrinkles/sagginess and want to give your eye a lift, keep on reading.


Pearls & Sparkles. Fresh and sophisticated. Youthfulness. Accepting your own age, but always striving to look better. Feel better.

***Special thanks to my mom, who accepted to model for my tutorial. She is 55 years! (& She has beautiful green eyes!)***

Approximate time you’ll need: 15-20 minutes (I take longer on videos because i search for products, take time to show what i use etc…)

What you’ll need:
-Something to cleanse your eye: I used Vichy Micellar water
-An eye cream: I used Decleor Hydra-Floral gel cream for eyes (very good on summer, for a skin that has oily eyes)
-An eyeshadow primer: I used Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin
-An eye brightener: I used Smashbox Photo-Op Under eye brightener
-A lifting concealer: I used Make up For Ever Lift concealer in 1
-A setting powder: I used Benefit powderflage
-A peachy-rosy shimmery eyeshadow: I used MAC pigment in ShimmerTime
-A highlighting color (preferably opalescent): I used MAC pigment in Helium
-A metallic medium brown: I used the lightest color on DIOR Impression cuir Palette
-A navy blue eyeliner: (i wanted with some gold spackles in it) I used Stila Smudge Pot in Starry Night
-A mascara primer: I used Estee Lauder Lash primer plus (the best lash primer ever!)
-A mascara: I used Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara (very good for those who have sparse eyelashes)
-A brow powder: I used a light nude brown eyeshadow
-A brow gel: I used Clarins Fix’ Mascara waterproofing seal

Brushes you’ll need:

-A flat packed bristles brush: I used MAC 230
-A crease fluffy brush: I used MAC 217
-A concealer brush: I used Make up store 206
-An eyeliner brush: I used Bobbi Brown Ultra fine eyeliner brush
-A pencil brush: I used MAC 219 (Optional, you can use your 230)
-A very big fluffy blending brush: I used Bobbi Brown Eye shader
-A fluffy brush: I used Bobbi Brown Eye Blender (Optional)
-A brow brush: I used Bobbi Brown Eye brow brush
