No make up – make up look + Haul (yoga + Rick Baker for MAC)

New week, new start! 🙂 🙂 🙂

I am currently revising for the finals tomorrow,  but I did not want to leave you guys unattended, therefore I thought of showing you step by step how my simple , low maintenance and low key make up that I have been wearing pretty much every day when I don’t want to spend too much time getting ready – or when I am not reviewing a foundation.

On a side note, I also wanted to show you what I have bought in the past week 🙂

Ok, let’s get started:

  1. Mac brow gel liner (redhead)
  2. Laura Mercier eye brow duo powder (Auburn)
  3. YSL Teint parfait pale pink (or any correcting primer)
  4. Laura Mercier secret camouflage 01
  5. YSL Touche eclat gold
  6. Mac cremebase in pearl
  7. Bobbi brown pressed powder – white
  8. Everyday minerals – Aussie perk me up concealer
  9. Nars blush – Oasis
  10. Sugar lip balm – Rose

Step 1: Brow gel (mine is tinted, to correct my eyebrow shade and give it volume)

Step 2: Apply your corrector/ primer or tinted moisturizer of choice.

Step 3: Spot conceal what you need to (I am using Laura Mercier secret camouflage)

Step 4: Apply your highlighter under eye just to give a boost for the concealer afterwards

Step 5: Conceal your dark circles, and also define your eyebrows with the concealer

Step 6: Apply your cream highlighter on the T-zone, temples and lips.

Step 7: Set your eye concealer with some brightening powder and define your eyebrows with eyebrow powder (I am using Laura Mercier)

Step 8: Some blush….

Step 9: Tinted liptbalm…

And we’re done!

Onto the haul:

I have started going back to Yoga again and I needed a new towel (bikram yoga + hot yoga, this is a must!), so I picked up Yogitoes skidless towel.

I chose black because its easy to maintain and always looks neat. This towel in particular has some silicon buds underneath so that it stays in place on the mat no matter what kind of crazy pose you’re rocking!

Next, couldn’t avoid picking up some items from MAC halloween’s collection (Rick Baker). I did not pick any of the eyeshadows nor the f&b, but I did have my eyes on the paintsticks (black and white) and the chromagraphic (black).

I must say the chroma graphic is the best eyeliner for waterline that I have ever tried. I have it in cyan and white as well.

Expect some cool halloween looks using these products – pretty soon.

Finally…I bought (on a whim) the Dr. Hauschka Rejuvenating mask. It can be worn everyday as a treatment if you happen to have skin problems / scarring for 4-6 weeks, or as a face mask for 20 minutes.

And this is totally random, but I was going through my stash of pictures and found those from my husband the day we had our own small wedding in the beach in Langkawi (Malaysia). It was raining as hell, and my dress and make up got ruined, but who cares! 🙂 🙂 🙂 This was afterwards (after dinner), chilling out in the lounge and…playing some board games! (This is what happens when you are married to a board game geek 😛 😛 )

And couldn’t avoid throwing in some funny pictures: he looks so gloomy in the lower left one, and so astonished on the second 😉

And the ring I was given!!!! PS: Looks like I have radioactive nails!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Now I am off to continue studying and yoga in 2 hrs!
